For eight out of the last twelve years, his voice has been a constant companion with the people of Pune, during the evenings viz., Shrikant! Known during his stint as "Pune ka Raja," Shrikant is a lovable know-it-all. His mantra is, "Laughter is the shortest distance between two people!"
Born a Kannadiga, brought up in the maximum city of Mumbai, Shrikant moved to Pune more than a decade ago to fulfil his dreams of being an astrophysicist. Then, radio happened. Or, more accurately, Shrikant happened to radio!
When he is on-air, listeners are treated to a light-hearted and fun-filled show with lots of interaction, information and entertainment. People who have heard him on radio will attest to the fact that Shrikant is a great story-teller and he truly loves telling stories - funny stories, happy stories, heart-warming stories, gut-wrenching stories, stories of love, stories of crime, stories in rhyme, stories of hope, stories of people, stories of things - stories of everything under the sun, essentially.
He is a smart-alec, a master of rhyme, a pun-loving comedian, who can hold a conversation about anything under the sun - be it Bollywood, technology, issues of the city, or even matters of the heart!
Ask him to sum up his life so far, and he’ll tell you, “I shot for the moon, and ended up among the stars!”
I graduated from the Indira School of Acting in January, 2013
Did my first ever play named The Ghost Train which was directed by Subhadip Raha who is still my favourite theatre director so far.
THEATER:
Hello, I am RishikeshShelar. First of all I would like to Thank Indira School of Communication for recognizing the Talent and potential in me
Since last 11 years I'm into acting. My uncle used to do street and Theatre plays and I used to watch him doing rehearsals and enact the same. 2008 was the year I wrote, directed and with the help of my friends performed a play in my school which got huge response and appreciations which motivated me to pursue my career in Acting. In the mean time I used write short comic plays and used to perform the same which helped me polish my acting skills and also my relieved my stage fear. In 7th standard I was selected in learning Space foundation for training in Acting. There my my teacher/Guru Ahmed Ali taught me making in a month's camp but there after the acting passion made me request sir to take professional training in Acting. We were not having the funds for the same but Ahmed sir saw our efforts and gave us all free coaching every Saturday and Sunday . At that time I didn't had a cycle and I used to live in a village so used to go walking 6kms and come again. I was a brilliant student so my mother wanted me to study rather than do acting so manier times used to even beat me but without bothering about any thing I used to go for the training . Under him I performed short films and plays which made me explore my acting abilities and till 10th I used to perform street plays based on Environment and won many prizes. Few months later I got an audition which bagged me the lead role in Dr. TatyaLahane | Angaar ...Power is Within. There I realised I need to be more polished so I took admission to Indira College of Communication.
In 2016 I got admission in this college for Acting, I still remember when I gave my first interview, the way the staff responded and reacted showed how much they cared about their students and how disciplined the school is in regards to their cariculum and most importantly the person who taught me to be what I'm is Mr. ShubhdeepRaha, the Guru Drona for whom Acting is the only Religion and for whom students are the upmost priority. Everyone teaches u how to act but Shubh deep sir taught me how to live the character, how to be impactful and how to present the character in different formats of theatre, movie, documentary or ad films. If u have a firm base of knowledge and practice, no matter what comes u r gonna stay firm and strong. Same thing happened with me, I got Teachers expert in their departments who taught me the Best of their knowledge, skill to make me who I am today. We Discover the Actor within U is what the tagline of Indira School of Communication tells u and this is what I Discover about myself in terms of Acting, discipline and training. I would even like to Thank the entire staff to help me reach this milestone. Above all I would like to Thank Vishal Sir for managing everything for students, providing students with whatever they require. Such a lovely, lively, calm person he is but in terms of work ...Salute u Sir.....I was always attracted to various events and the preparation behind the events in this school , I may or may not be the participant in every event but I used to enjoy every bit of it and also it be the best learning experience for me every time.I think such type of cultural events should be conducted in every college which would promote the confidence, the thinking ability and would improve the perfoming skills of the students. Luckily I got everything from Indira School of Communication. I would also like to thank Renu Mam and Indira School of Director Tarita Mam for making such facilities available to us. Here I not only learnt how to act but I learnt how to recognize myself, how to have a different undiscovered perspective about the world, the people. After the completion of course the Convocation/Presentation of the skills , ur acting talent , the technicalities are showcased through an innovative and uniquely designed play is I think the trademark of this institute. I think the uniqueness , the discipline and the things I learnt in this school I don't think I would have got this in any other institute. All these years Indira College is standing tall and brilliant and it's all because of Mrs. Tarita Shankar Mam. I'm very proud to be associated as a student as a alumini of Indira School of Communication...I'm thankful to u all for making me the part of ur institute and for providing me the platform to learn , practice and to train myself as an actor.
After college I did few projects and in 2018 I started teaching acting and now I will be working in the Biopic of Mokshagundamvisveraya and from then I'm associated with VMM entertainment Pvt Ltd. Working there I did few album songs and currently directing a play on Acharya Bhikshu's life.
Thank u so much.

At the core, the format helps the gathering appreciate similarities and differences as a community.
Slice of Life, Log Kya Kahenge?, Leadership Diaries, Guftagoo, Find Your Voice are some of the performance themes that Preeti has facilitated, allowing for many hidden stories to emerge and find their flow with others. Kala Ghoda Art Festival, Tata Management Training Centre, Happy Feet Palliative Care, SNDT Women’s College are the diverse spaces where she and her empurple team have co-created stories.
