Biography

Sharon Maziya has over 25 years of experience leading significant, enterprise-wide change management and cultural initiatives, a C-suite Human Resources professional and the current President of the Institute of People Management Eswatini (IPM). She has a Master of Sciences Degree in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University and a strong background in Corporate Communications, Learning and Development and Law. She kicked off her career as a continuity presenter at Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) where she had a stint behind the mic.

Sharon’s core expertise lies in steering steady and meaningful culture change, developing and leading high-performance structures and systems, implementing new benefits programs, and being a trusted adviser and business leader on the executive team. She has successfully guided HR operations while navigating significant organizational oversight and accountability, and demonstrated the ability to drive strategic and cultural change to position the organization for long-term success. She has also enabled learning and development strategy for competency building and its linkages to be directly linked to business, functional, and employee development needs. As the President of the Institute of People Management (IPM), she remains passionate about advancing the professional standards and practices of people management in Eswatini and beyond.
