Frank Sabola

Frank is a seasoned, well rounded strategic Leader and Human Resources professional with 20 years’ work experience, 15 of which have been at strategic level. He also operates as a Leadership and Management Consultant.

Upon graduating from the university, he joined Nedbank Malawi as a Bank officer and later joined the Bank’s Management Training Program. He worked with Nedbank in different roles and rose to the position of Human Resources Manager before he resigned to join Indebank Malawi Limited also as Human Resources Manager.

From Indebank, Frank joined Opportunity International Bank of Malawi as Head of Human Resources and later joined NBS Bank Plc as Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

Frank joined Ecobank Malawi in October, 2018 as Head of Human Resources and was in 2023 appointed as Regional Head of HR for the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

He also operates as a Leadership and Management Consultant. Frank is also the current President of the Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM).

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (majoring in Human Resources Management) from the University of Malawi and a Master of Business Administration from the Edinburg Business School (Heriot- Watt University). He also holds a Diploma in Banking from the University of South Africa and is a certified Human Resources profession with Instead Business School.
