Anirban R Banerjee

Biography
Anirban has two decades of work experience in the areas of
capability development for accelerating business in a wide
range of sectors, companies of different sizes/scales, and
stages of business maturity.
He has worked with global MNCs, Domestic Conglomerates, and start-ups. Further, He has
experience in designing and delivering a wide range of strategic learning and development
initiatives. He has received awards for leading initiatives at Adani Group in Leadership Development
to build business capacity in collaboration with ISB Hyderabad and SCMHRD Pune in 2020.
For two consecutive years (2021, 2022) he had been invited as a keynote speaker at the Israel
based Start-up Central and International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (India) for the
business acceleration program for Israel-based start-up investing in India.
In 2023 he has been selected to be among 20 mentors by German Entrepreneurship Asia (German
accelerator based out of Singapore), for the India market discovery program to enable the German
start-up to enter the Indian market.
After graduating in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Gujarat University in 1996, Anirban went
on to complete his MBA in Human Resource Management from MIT School of Management, Pune
(Pune University) in the year 1999. Continuing with his own learning and expansion of knowledge,
He has completed a master’s degree in organizational psychology in June 2021. In 2023 Anirban has
got selected for a Phd programme in management. The area of his research is Impact of
Participation in Sports/Gyming on Employee Engagement for Business Growth.
He is a regular writer for several eminent newspapers, journals, and news portals, with by-lines for
publications such as Economic Times, Business World, People Matters and First Post. He is also a
regular speaker at Learning and Development events in India and UAE.
Anirban was awarded BEST LEARNING LEADER AWARD - National Award for Best-in-Class Learning
and Development in 2017 by World HRD Congress and Times of India. Anirban is also the recipient
of 100 most talented Training and Development Leaders in Indian awards from World HRD
Congress presented by Times Assent in 2017 and 2018.
