Suchitra Karumanchi

Suchitra is a passionate HR leader with diverse experience in managing HR Business Partner, HR Service Delivery, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and HR Transformation roles. She played a key role in designing and delivering diverse HR programs and services for organisations across IT, Professional services, and Pharma industries.

Suchitra has strong expertise in managing large scale HR transformational projects from conceptualization to execution. She handled multiple such projects which includes setting up and expansion of the HR shared services where the scope of services was ranging from 10,000 to 125,000 employees.

As an Employee Engagement lead for group of business unit of 18000+ employees, she was responsible for driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.

In her previous role as an Inclusion & diversity (I&D) Lead, she led the I&D agenda and the team for the Technology workforce, where she was responsible for program design and execution of I&D initiatives across the pillars of Gender, Persons with Disabilities, LGBT, Parents at Work, and culture sensitization impacting over 100,000+ employees.

In her current role, Suchitra leads HR function for the Elanco Innovation and Alliance Centre, where she is partnering with the leaders to engage and retain a diverse talent pool of employees from 40+ capabilities lead by functional leaders across the globe. As a member of the “HRBP model evolution” project team, Suchitra contributed to the refinement of the HR organizational archetype at Elanco globally.

Suchitra is a proud alumnus of the pilot batch of the “Women Leadership Program” from Elanco which was designed with an intent to develop women leaders in the Animal Health care industry globally.

Suchitra strongly believes in leveraging technology to manage the HR processes and played a key role in HRIS (SAP, Workday) implementation and customization in her previous and current organisations.

Suchitra is a certified NLP Coach, HR Quality Systems & Processes Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
