Shashwat K. Mitra

Shashwat is the Global Head of Human Resources for KPIT which is Reimagining Mobility and oversees strategy, culture, growth, operations, CSR of over 12000 people across multiple geographies across the globe.

He is a Human Resource leader with decades of experience across HR Strategy, Cultural Transformation, Leadership, Change Management, Talent Management, Talent Development, Compliance (legal, industrial relations, statutory acts), Compensation and HR Analytics. Known for implementing transformational & contemporary HR practices of strategic importance to businesses across the globe. Built regional & global teams while leading teams from EMEA, USA and APAC. He has worked with organizations like Mahindra, Eaton, Cummins & AppDirect.

Shashwat is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Rutgers Business School where he studied Strategy and Economics and MP Technical University where he studied Mechanical Engineering and holds a gold medal for his academic performance (2006).

He has 3 international papers published, 2 in HR and 1 in engineering. Holds patent for his work in engineering. Working on a case study with Yale School of Management (US). Has been on the panel of industry mentor for Monash University (Australia) and XLRI (India). Shashwat is a Guest Faulty of HR at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
