Emmanuel Salazar

Emman is currently Vice President for Human Resources in S&R Membership Shopping where he renders strategic human capital management to drive S&R’s growth and business value through its people programs.

He gained his HR expertise working for local Philippines business conglomerates, Ayala Corp, JG Summit, San Miguel, ABS-CBN and Concepcion Industrial. He also assumed HR leadership roles in Accenture, Telus, MSD and AG&P. He leveraged his experience to drive business results for these organization with the people as pivot point.

Emman is a prolific speaker in People Strategy, Human Capital Management, Multi Generation Workforce Management, Organization and Talent Management, Strategic Rewards, Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, Change Management.

In 2019, Emman received the distinction of being one of the 101 Global HR Heroes, a recognition given World CSR & World Sustainability during the 27th World HRD Congress in Mumbai, India. He was recognized as one of the Philippines Most Talented HR Leaders in the same year. In 2021, he was the lone Filipino to make it to the HRD Asia Magazine’s publication of HR Hotlist, a special commendation for managing talent through uncertainties of year 2020, going above and beyond remits, becoming a crisis management expert and business strategist while carrying out leadership duties

Through his 23 years of HR practice, he managed to work in challenging work environments and was able to add value to business organizations because of his deep insights managing Filipino conglomerates and complex multinational organizations. He was able to leverage his experience to drive business results with the people agenda as the vehicle of business success.

He holds an AB Philosophy and Human Resources Development degree from San Beda College where he graduated with top honors. He earned MBA units in Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

He is happily married to Darlene Charmaine.
