Biography

Being a passionate ‘Learner’ has been Amit’s mantra in his career growth as an HR practitioner. He has an optimistic approach to life and follows the motto of “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching”. Amit started his career with Caterpillar in June 2007 and has since grown with the organization. In his current role as a Senior Manager - Total Rewards, he leads the Global Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) team to support contemporary salary planning by leveraging lean principles and technology thus ensuring tangible deliverables through responsible behaviours of ‘Attention to Detail’, ‘Vigor’, ‘Business Acumen’, ‘Critical thinking’, and simplified Communication. Over the last 16+ years, Amit has held various individual contributor and leadership positions both in country and within the Asia Pacific region. His previous assignments span across breadth of HR inclusive of Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, University Partnerships, Employee Engagement & Communications, Succession Planning, HR Strategy, Black Belt, Employer Branding and Learning & Development. He considers himself fortunate to have worked across to support the organization in its talent imperatives. Amit is adept at bringing in new perspectives to provide consulting and sustainable solutions to business problems, through analysis of multitude of information in cognizance with team core strengths.
