With more than 2 decades of experience in the Human Resources function, he has gained deep understanding of the constantly changing business & is regarded as a subject matter expert & thought leader in People Strategy. He has also led public policy initiatives in simplifying the Labor Law eco system. Therefore making him a sought after speaker in India & abroad.
He is currently Associate Director - Human Resources at IBM with a focus on Employee & Labor Relations. This exciting role enables him to be involved in all aspects that "touch" employees. Having joined IBM in 1999, he is credited with setting up an Employer Brand that supported IBM's growth in India. He has held various leadership roles in IBM India Human Resources, in the areas of Business HR, Staffing, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Mergers, Divestments & Acquisitions and currently managing Employee and Labor Relations.
He is a Futurist and is working on innovative projects in Human Resources in the area of The Future of Work where he expounds the concept of the Universality of Talent! This is pending patent. He was recently recognized as Asia's Most Innovative Tech HR Leaders by HRM Asia & The Times of India.
He was also awarded the "Thought Leadership" award recently by the African Asian Chambers of Commerce & Industry. He is a startup mentor as well as a strong supporter of social entrepreneurship that focuses or supports the advancement of women.
On the personal front he is actively involved in community development and supports in rehabilitating oppressed women and children with learning disability and is committed to education and community health.
He likes to spend time traveling with his family and is also a middle distance runner and loves to watch movies and listen to music when he has the time.
