Biography

Mr. Sidhartha Das is the Chief Human Resource Officer within the Advent International API Platform, overseeing operations at Cohance Lifesciences Limited, ZCL Chemicals Limited, and Avra Laboratories Limited. His extensive background spans the pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, and infrastructure sectors. Having worked in diverse cities across India, he understands the country's business environments. Furthermore, his professional journey extends beyond India, with significant experience in different geographies and cultures, including Bangladesh, the Middle East, and Africa.

Sid, as he is known to everyone, embarked on his role with Advent's API Platform in February 2021, three months after the acquisition of R A Chem Pharma Limited. His significant contributions extended to overseeing the subsequent acquisitions of ZCL Chemicals Limited (April 2021) and Avra Laboratories Private Limited (April 2022). Joining the leadership team, Sid has been at the forefront of driving the transformational journey of these three entities focussed at harmonisation and integration.

Given the unique nature of his journey, Sid recognised the importance of aligning the HR agenda with the short and long-term business goals. His keen understanding of each acquired organisation's current state and level of maturity allowed him to chart a path forward, ultimately converging into a single, evolved entity with exemplary people practices. With agility, he aligned the organisation's people needs with the organization’s operational framework ‘DISHA’, working closely with the leadership team to address risks and gaps. The development journey was tailored to the specific needs of each organisation, aiming to create a best-in-class entity.

Sid's adept talent strategy has played a pivotal role in steering the organisation towards achieving its business objectives amidst its dynamic and inorganically expanding environment. He employs data-driven insights to discern the organisation's most critical competencies, devising inventive methods to attract talent endowed with these capabilities. Attracting top-tier talent poses a perennial challenge for an organisation in the throes of self-discovery.
