Raman Bhatt

Raman Bhatt is a Global Head of Total Rewards at Celebi Aviation Holding currently based at the company headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey. In this capacity, he oversees and directs Total Rewards strategies and initiatives on a global scale, in India, Turkey, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, and Africa. Previously, Raman held the position of Head of Total Rewards for Celebi India, contributing significantly to the enhancement of compensation and benefit practices. Additionally, he played a crucial role in the establishment of Global HR Shared Services in India before assuming his current global leadership role. His key responsibilities in the new position in Headquarters revolves around bringing global approach & synergy in the compensation, benefits & rewards practices for the diverse global workforce of Celebi, with a team of C&B experts in different geographies. His leadership consistently enhances employee satisfaction and retention by implementing comprehensive rewards strategies and adept program management. He is also serving as a core functional member in the expansion projects in the new geographies, mainly in Southeast Asia & Africa.Over the past 15 years Raman gained diverse experience across IT/ITeS, Retail, Hi-Tech, Telecom, and Aviation sectors, holding key roles with multinationals including Ericsson, Walmart, and MetLife. Under his Total Rewards & HR Practices leadership, Ericsson won India’s Best Places to Work & India’s Best Places to Work for Women. During his 5-year tenure at Walmart India, Raman successfully transformed the benefits and HR practices landscape, resulting in continuous recognition for four years as India's Best Places to Work and Top 10 Best Workplaces in Retail. In this timeframe, Walmart India also achieved recognition as one of the Working Mother & AVTAR 100 Best Companies for Women in India. Raman has worked in a variety of Human Resource assignments throughout his career, including Compensation & benefits, Total Rewards, HR policies & practices, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence for green-field and brown-field projects, job evaluations, HR shared services, talent management & various HR initiatives. He also won several accreditations in his tenure such as MetLife’s Exceptional Performance Award and Walmart’s Leading with Excellence. Raman is a certified Lean Six Sigma professional, a Certified Rewards Professional from Aon, a Certified Hay Job Evaluator accredited by Hay Group, and holds a Design Thinking Certification.
