Maemar Chadavid Syamtar

David is the esteemed Group HR General Manager at Kanmo Group, Indonesia's premier Digital Omni channel retailer. With a robust career spanning over 13 years, he has honed his expertise in HR across various business lines such as consulting, retail, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, and investment. A former AXA and Japan Tobacco International employee, David's leadership earned him the High Performing Human Capital Director award in 2023 from TOP Human Capital Awards 2023 and propelled Kanmo Group to win multiple accolades, including the prestigious HR Asia Awards as Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2023, the TOP Human Capital Awards 2024 Star 4, and the HR Excellence Awards 2023.

His academic prowess is equally impressive, with both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Paramadina University, and he is currently pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Prasetiya Mulya Business School. David’s passion for leadership development is reflected in his role as a lecturer, imparting knowledge in Leadership, Change Management, Strategic HR Management, Talent Management, and Organizational Development, among other subjects, at notable Indonesian universities, Paramadina University and Pelita Harapan University Medan.
