Lakshman C. Palliyaguruge

Lakshman is an accomplished and result-oriented HR and Organization Development professional with over 28 years of experience. Lakshman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in creating and implementing effective people strategies that drive organizational success. Throughout his career, he has developed a deep understanding of the crucial role that HR and Organization Development, inclusive of talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement play in creating a culture of excellence. His experience spans across various industries, including Electronic OEM's, BPO's, technology and financial services, where he has led successful initiatives to overall Organizational Development. Currently Lakshman serves as the Chief People Officer of LankaPay, the National Payment Infrastructure of Sri Lanka, which functions under the guidance and supervision of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. LankaPay is regarded one of the best Public Private Partnerships in the region. The entity is owned by the Central Bank along with other licensed public and private Commercial Banks operating in the island nation.

Prior to LankaPay Lakshman was the General Manager of Innodata Lanka (Private) Limited, a BPO owned by Innodata Inc a listed company in NASDAQ Exchange, New York USA.

Lakshman is known for his ability to help solve complex organizational issues, build high-performing teams, foster a culture of collaboration, and drive organizational change. Lakshman's forte has been to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams and make them adaptive to change. This has helped establish trustworthy organization cultures that excel in implementing innovative and creative solutions.
