Stéphane is a Principal in Mercer’s Human Capital business specializing in Human Capital and Talent Strategy consulting services including Human Capital Strategy, Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, Selection and Succession Planning, and Performance Management. He is currently based in Singapore and has previously held a number of consulting leadership roles in Japan and Canada. Stéphane has over 14 years experience designing, implementing and advising on a range of human resource management initiatives with MNCs in Singapore, Hong Kong, U.S.A, Canada, Japan, Italy, France, China among others, as well as in the Canadian and Singaporean public sector.

Stéphane has won, advised on, and managed a range of consulting projects covering HR strategies, HR planning, merger and acquisitions, organizational design, assessment and selection, competency models, training and development, leadership development, performance management, classification, and compensation. In addition, he has a strong background in research design and statistical analysis. Stéphane is fluent in French, English, Indonesian and Japanese and intermediate in Spanish.

  Some of the sectors Stephane has had significant experience include financial services, public sector, professional services, manufacturing, technology, fast-moving consumer goods and healthcare/biotechnology.  Stéphane’s recent engagements have included an overhaul of the leadership practices of a major Macau gaming organization and the redesign of key HC practices for a Multinational cosmetics manufacturer.

Stéphane has a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron, OH, a B.Sc. Honours in Psychology from McGill University, and is a full member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He has taught courses in academic and corporate settings on topics such as psychology, statistics, strategic HRM, HR metrics, performance management, and assessment. In addition, he has been a contributing author to human resource management textbooks and articles and is a regular speaker at conferences in APAC.
