Sonal has close to two decades experience in executive search & selection in India. She co-founded and manages Accord Group India (www.accordindia.net), which conducts retained executive search for leadership talent from offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The main practice areas include Professional & Financial Services, Industrials, Consumer, Real Estate, Healthcare, Media and Technology.

Accord is part of AltoPartners | Executive Search Worldwide (www.altopartners.com), a global alliance of independent executive search firms across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Sonal serves as the Asia-Pacific representative for the global management committee for AltoPartners. She has also served on the boards of ABC Consultants India, ABC Consultants Singapore and Watson Wyatt India.

Born in East Africa and raised in Kolkata, Sonal completed her MBA from the London Business School, UK. Based in Bombay, she joined the group in 1993. Apart from working with Conglomerates, she leads the Professional & Financial Services practice for Accord.

Sonal is an active member of the Young Professionals Organization (YPO), a peer network of 20,000 young global leaders in 100 nations. She was named by the Economic Times as one of the Top 10 Headhunters in India and by Businessweek, USA as one of the 150 Most Influential Headhunters in the World, 2008.
