S. V. Nathan is the Talent Director for Deloitte U.S. Firms in India, with over 27 years of professional experience in Human Resource management, and working across businesses such as Manufacturing, Services, Telecom and Information Technology. Nathan led the team that helped in building of the India US Region in his career of over 6 years with Deloitte.

Apart from his responsibilities in Deloitte, Nathan serves as a Fellow at Sumedhas, a not-for-profit education and research body on organization development. He is a well-known speaker at national and international seminars on contemporary Talent matters, and is also acknowledged as a good teacher within the fraternity. In addition to this, Nathan is also a Behavioral Specialist trained in sensitivity training. He is also serves the National HR Development Network ( NHRDN), on the National Board and is also its Regional President, South.

Nathan has been conferred the prestigious honor of “HR Role Model’ of the year 2011, and is referred to in the list of the top 50 HR professionals in the country. Recently, Asia Leadership Award conferred on him the Business Super Achiever Award, 2011.

He graduated in Mathematics, from Vivekananda College, Madras, and did his post graduation from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Nathan is fond of reading and writing, and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
