Mukul Chopra Senior Vice President & Head Human Resources – Arshiya Group is responsible for creating, building and executing a comprehensive HR strategy to strengthen the Arshiya Brand globally. He is a seasoned HR professional with more than 18 years of experience spanning multiple domains with Blue chip companies. Mukul has excellent relationship building skills, eye for details and Business acumen and brings with him strategy, expertise and new insights. He has extensive experience in managing Start – Up’s, businesses partnering and scaling up operations. Mukul was responsible for devising strategic HR initiatives and running various HR programs for global teams during his past assignments.

Prior to this appointment, he was Head - Human Resources (Global Solutions Sales) at Huawei Telecom. During his stint at Huawei, he worked closely with the Global Management and the India Management teams to define and execute a 5 year strategy for HR Business Partnering. Mukul has coached the African and Latin American teams on various deployable HR initiatives including Employee Satisfaction Survey.

Mukul was National HR Head (Agri business), Reliance Retail Limited where he was responsible for defining the HR Vision and Strategy. He built a strong team of 50 members servicing manpower of more than 25000 (direct and indirect).Mukul was responsible for creating cutting edge internal HR best practices in On-boarding, Performance Management, Talent Mapping and Compensation & Benefits.

As Head Human Resources function for UP & Uttaranchal Circle of Reliance Infocomm he was instrumental in setting up the Circle infrastructure and key HR interventions to supplement the circle growth. In a short span through structured programs and talent acquisition strategies he helped the Circle grow exponentially.

As Assistant Vice President - Human Resources, Mukul was responsible for end to end HR services for the Finance and Accounting Center of Excellence at Genpact. He helped the team achieve reduction in attrition and building stronger teams. Mukul was instrumental in introducing key initiatives at the COE level including Buddy System for new hires and reach out initiatives.

In addition to the above, he was associated with Bharti Enterprises - Airtel and Essar Telecommunications. Mukul had the privilege of being handpicked by the HR Director of Bharti Enterprises for setting up the Onsite & Offsite teams for the International Call Center at Bharti. He was deputed to California to setup the HR operations for the Onsite center.

Mukul began his career as a Mechanical Engineer with Jindal Strips Ltd. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineer from the Punjab Engineering College and an MBA in HR from the University Business School, Panjab University.

Mukul is married to Sarika, a homemaker and has two sons Arjun and Nakul.
