Jacki McCartney is an experienced Organization Development practitioner whose expertise in corporate performance management has been much in demand throughout the world with organizations as diverse as the US Army, Visa, Alstom
Power, Oman LNG, Petronas, British Aerospace and DHL Express. In recent years, Jacki has expanded Syat’s presence in the Middle East where she is a regular Chairman, speaker and workshop leader at Conferences and assorted forum. As a result, Jacki has developed a reputation over the course of the past 25 years for delivering excellence and critically working with her clients to improve the performance of organisations, people and teams by focusing on the enhancement of internal capability to match market opportunity.

With extensive international management consultancy experience having worked in the Middle East, Europe and the USA, Jacki is a founding partner of Syat some 21 years ago. Formally European Director of Training & Development with Kaplan & Norton’s US consultancy, coupled with 14 years as internal consultant and senior manager/board member in sales and marketing with a global telecommunications operator, Jacki has extensive experience upon which to draw so that clients discover and fulfill their potential whether at an organizational, team or individual level.

Her career to date has afforded the opportunity to develop significant skills and capabilities in change management and organisation development and Jacki is highly regarded for matching strategic insight and vision with action; balancing the achievement of honouring deadlines, delivering quality and managing costs, and building relationships across geographical, hierarchical and functional boundaries.

With a first Masters Degree in French and German, Jacki is currently working on her dissertation for an MSC in Coaching and Mentoring which will reflect her passion to apply her learning for the benefit of business, organizations and people. An accredited Facilitator, and certified Executive Coach, Jacki’s professional development includes a period working with her heroes such as Peter Senge and Ed Schein on MIT’s Organisational Learning Development Programme and the 10 year ‘Inventing Organizations for the Twenty First Century’ project; Tavistock Institute’s Authority, Leadership and Organisation programme; NTL Institute’s Programme for Specialists in Organisational Development.

Jacki is married to her business partner, Martin Lambden and together they have two sons, one of whom is a Scholar on the oldest and most prestigious scholarship programme in the USA; the other is in the final stages of senior school education where he is a tennis and music scholar.
