Henry has a work career of 32 year in the Automotive, Mining & Chemical sectors –  Driving business optimization and related interventions, Strategic management and turnaround strategy deployment, IT solution installations & upgrades, Talent Management / Skills Development & Human Resources Interventions, Project management, Business development & Shared services development projects.

He is a Director and Board member of: Centre for Organisational Improvement, Shared Services Investment (Pty) Ltd. and the Human Capital Institute South Africa. Henry held appointments such as; Senior Vice President: Group HR for Nissan Automotive and FIFA World Cup 2010 Strategic Advisor. He lectured part time on MBA programmes at various Universities – locally & internationally. Henry also Presented 40 papers domestically & Internationally at leading conferences and has published four books.

He was a Professor at De Montfort University & IMCB and Dean of Bsn SA. He attended the Hull University CSS (Centre for Systems Studies) International Sabbatical Programme in 1996 and was President of National Institute for Training & Development.
He was Chairman of AMIETTB, led the NBF National Union negotiations for the Auto Industry in 2003 and attended the MIT Global Leaders Programme in 2007.

He is a qualified Value Engineering Practitioner, was trained in Hoshin-Kanri at the Japan Kaizen Institute and is the convener of SoL (Society of Org Learning) in SA. Henry holds a BCom (Hons), MBA & PhD.
