Mr. Harish S. Mehta, CMD, Onward Technologies Ltd. founded Onward group in 1991. Onward Technologies Limited offer solutions in Engineering Design and IT Services.

He has 30 years of cumulative experience in the Indian Computer Industry and was one of the Chief Architects for realizing the Hinditron - Digital Joint Venture in India. (1987). He was Vice-Chairman and MD of Onward-Novell, 50:50 Joint Venture of Onward group and Novell from 1992 to 2005.

He has been the Co-Founder & Former Chairman of the National Association of Software & Service Companies (NASSCOM). He was the First President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) - Mumbai. He has held the position of Managing Trustee of Trust to Promote Advanced Technologies in India (TPATI).

Mr. Mehta is an Electrical Engineer from College of Engineering, Pune and has done his Masters in Computer Science from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute, NY, USA. He has been conferred with CEO of the year award by N M Institute of Management and TATA HRD Network in 1994, Distinguished Alumnus award by College of Engineering, Pune in 1995 and Lifetime Achievement award for HR excellence by Deccan Herald in 2004.
