Prof. Indira Parikh

"Future Competience of Skills - Role of HR"



Prof Indira Parikh was a faculty member at IIM-A for over 30 years and Dean from 2002-2005. She also has taught at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France) and Texas A&M University. She has specialized in organization development and offered management development programs for managerial role effecrtiveness, training for trainers, issues of role and identity, and stress and self-renewal for men and women in organizations. She has been a consuktant to various national sectors and is also on the board of several companies.

Prof. Indira Parikh has been honored with three lifetime achievement awards:

  • The Lifetime Achievement Award for the best teacher in the Management in the January 18, 2001 at the world HRD Congress held in Mumbai.
  • The Lifetime achievemtn Award for contribution to HR on October 3, 2003 in the second Regional HR Conference held in Pune organized by the Indira Group of Institutes, Pune.
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award by PGP Students, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (2003-2005 batch)
