    Jessie Chan, heads up the Global Human Resources for Scomi Energy Services Bhd and Scomi Group Bhd where she works with the group's HR Practitioners around the world, delivering professional HR services to employees and the management of the company. Her areas of responsibility include the development and execution of HR strategy, cradle-to-grave management of talents, benefits and compensation, performance management and alignment of practices of the HR policies and processes in the countries of operations around the world.

    Jessie came from a background of sales and marketing as well as operations management, prior to her career in HR. She was heading up investor relations portfolio of the various listed entities in Scomi Group where she travelled extensively to majors cities in the world, engaging then with existing and potential shareholders and institutional investors. In her 11 years of engagement with Scomi, she was also the Head of Group Communications, Head of Production Enhancement Technology as well as overseeing the oilfield services operations in China. These experiences strengthen her deliverable of HR services to the businesses and management of the company as she understand clearly the needs of the employees and the business operations.

    Jessie holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and Master of Arts (International Studies) degree from University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She has also completed her certification in coaching, an approach which she strongly believes in and applies in both her work and life. Jessie is also actively involved in championing courses for needy women where she has set up a laundry, providing job opportunities and creating a conducive environment to develop and empower the ladies in the team. In addition, Jessie is also a certified Jazzercise instructor for more than a decade as she believes strongly in having a fit, healthy and fun lifestyle.
