Wei Zheng is a Principal and the leader for Mercer’s
Executive Remuneration business in Asia. Before taking on this role,
he was Market Leader for Mercer North China. Wei is an economist
specializing in performance measurement, incentives, and financial
analysis. He has made significant contributions to the development
of Mercer’s capability to quantify economic effects of human
resource management. Wei has worked with many global and Chinese
clients, helping them identify and quantify the impact of human
capital factors such as staffing and incentive program designs on
the business performance and advised clients on how to achieve better
business outcomes by making necessary changes in these factors.
His work also involves helping clients develop human capital strategy,
performance measurement, and executive incentive designs. Wei’s
clients span many industries including financial services, energy,
high-tech, healthcare, logistic, and telecommunications. Wei received
BA from Peking University and his doctorate in economics from New
York University. He is a member of the Association of Investment
Management and Research. Wei is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
